# BIRAC-RDI Fund

> The BIRAC Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Fund is a Government of India
> initiative supporting deep-tech research, development and innovation in biotechnology
> and transformative indigenous manufacturing. It is implemented by the Biotechnology
> Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) under the Department of Biotechnology,
> Ministry of Science and Technology.

Scope: co-investment funding from Rs 5 crore to Rs 200 crore for technologies at
Technology Readiness Level 4 and above, open to startups, SMEs and large industries
that are eligible technology entities registered in India.

Applications are submitted through a separate portal at https://app.biracrdif.org
which is not covered by this file.
